Biography

Navya Swamy is a talented Indian actress known for her work across Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil television industries. Born on March 17, 1991, in Mysore, Karnataka, she completed her education at Rotary West School and later graduated from MMK and SDM College for Women in Mysore. Her early interest in performing arts led her to pursue a career in acting soon after college.

Navya began her acting journey in 2010 with the Kannada serial Lakumi, where she played the titular role. She followed it up with appearances in Thangali and Talambralu, establishing herself in the Kannada television space. Her Tamil debut came with the popular Sun TV serial Vani Rani in 2013, where she portrayed the character of Pooja. She also played a supporting role in Aranmanai Kili on Vijay TV.

Her breakthrough in Telugu television came with the serial Naa Peru Meenakshi (2015), where her portrayal of Meenakshi won her critical acclaim and a Best Actress Award in 2018. She continued to impress audiences with roles in Kante Koothurne Kanali and Aame Katha, showcasing her versatility and emotional depth.

In recent years, Navya has transitioned into films, making her Telugu cinema debut with Intinti Ramayanam (2022), followed by roles in Butta Bomma and Ravanasura in 2023. She has expressed a desire to focus more on films, having already made a significant mark on television.

Navya is admired not only for her acting skills but also for her grounded personality and dedication to her craft. Though she remains unmarried, she was once rumored to be close friends with actor Ravi Krishna.
