Nikhil Siddhartha was born on June 1, 1985, in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana).

His birth name is simply Nikhil, but he is widely known as Nikhil Siddhartha in the film industry.

Before becoming a lead actor, he appeared in supporting roles in films like Sambaram (2003) and Hyderabad Nawabs (2006).

His breakthrough role came in Happy Days (2007), directed by Sekhar Kammula, which was a major critical and commercial success.

Nikhil studied engineering at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad, before pursuing acting full-time.

He is known for choosing unique and experimental scripts, which helped him stand out in Telugu cinema, such as Swamy Ra Ra (2013) and Karthikeya (2014).

His film Karthikeya 2 (2022) became a pan-Indian success, expanding his popularity beyond Telugu audiences.

Nikhil married Dr. Pallavi Varma in 2020, and the couple has one child.
