Born on November 30, 1991, in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India, she spent a significant part of her early life in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Nivetha completed her schooling in Dubai and later graduated in Human Resource Management from Heriot-Watt University in Dubai.

Her entry into the entertainment industry was marked by winning the Miss India UAE beauty pageant in 2015. This victory opened doors for her in the Indian film industry, where she made her debut in the Tamil film "Oru Naal Koothu" in 2016.
