Biography
Nyra Banerjee, also known as Madhuurima Banerjee, is an Indian actress and model who has worked across multiple film industries including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Born on 14 May 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she began her career with the Telugu film Aa Okkadu (2009) and simultaneously made her Hindi debut with Toss: A Flip of Destiny (2009). Nyra gained recognition in Bollywood with Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal (2012), directed by Priyadarshan, and later appeared in One Night Stand (2016) alongside Sunny Leone. In South Indian cinema, she has acted in films such as Koothara (Malayalam, 2014) and Aambala (Tamil, 2015). Beyond films, she has made a strong mark in Hindi television with shows like Divya Drishti and Pishachini, where her performances highlighted her ability to portray diverse characters.
Nyra has also participated in reality television, including Bigg Boss 18 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, further expanding her popularity.
