Biography

Prakash Belawadi is an Indian actor, director, journalist, teacher, and activist. He's known for his roles in Bollywood movies like Airlift, Madras Cafe, and Talwar. He's also credited in more than 60 movies, including * Mandala: The UFO Incident*, Made in Bengaluru, and * Vrithra*. In 2003, he won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in English for Stumble.

Belawadi has also starred in six TV shows, including Humble Politiciann Nograj, Smoke, and Mumbai Diaries 26/11. He's also a motivational speaker at events and TEDx conferences. 

Belawadi has received many awards for his acting skills, including the "Pratibha Bhushan" from the Government of Karnataka, the Karnataka Nataka Academy, and the Helpmann Award from Australia. He's also taught film courses in Sweden and Istanbul, Turkey. 

Belawadi is a founding member of Citizens for Bengaluru, a platform for people to engage with the city government.
