Purnendu Bhattacharya is an actor who has worked in film, television, and theater, and is also known for his anchoring and recitation skills. He is known for his roles in Thappad (2020), Talvar (2015), and Children of War (2014). Some of his other work includes No One Killed Jessica, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, and Romeo Akbar Walter. 

Bhattacharya has also done voice overs, compering, advertisements, ballets, and radio plays. He can change his voice to perform as different male characters, regional accents in Hindi, English, and Bengali.
