Biography

Raja Chembolu is a talented Indian actor known for his impactful performances in Telugu cinema. Born and raised in Hyderabad, Telangana, he is the son of the legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry and Padmavati. He holds a B.Tech degree from Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering and also studied in the United States before pursuing a career in acting.

Raja made his film debut with Keka (2008), but it was his role in Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017) that marked his re-entry and gained him recognition. Since then, he has appeared in a variety of films and web series, showcasing his range across genres. His notable works include Fidaa, Antariksham 9000 KMPH, Mr. Majnu, Chanakya, V, Bhanumathi & Ramakrishna, and Month of Madhu (2023), where he played emotionally nuanced roles.

He has also made a mark in the OTT space with performances in series like Masti’s, Puli Meka, and Maya Bazaar – For Sale. In 2025, he appears in Meghaalu Cheppina Prema Katha and Sarangapani Jathakam, continuing his streak of diverse and meaningful roles.

Raja Chembolu is married to Himabindu Lakshmi, and the couple tied the knot in October 2020. Known for his calm demeanor and refined acting style, Raja is steadily building a reputation as a dependable and versatile actor in the Telugu film industry.
