Biography
Rajshri Nair (also credited as Rajashree) is an Indian actress known for her work across Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam cinema, and television, with a career spanning more than three decades.
Rajshri Nair was born on 29 April 1977. She made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gandhada Gudi Part 2 (1994), where she was credited as Rajeshwari. Soon after, she entered Tamil cinema with Bharathiraja’s Karuthamma (1994), a critically acclaimed film that earned her recognition for her natural performance. This role marked the beginning of her journey in South Indian cinema, where she went on to act in over 60 films across multiple languages.
Her career highlights include memorable roles in Tamil films such as Sethu (1999), Nandha (2001), Run (2002), Manasellam (2003), and Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu (2006). She also appeared in Telugu films and Malayalam projects, showcasing her versatility across regional industries. In addition to films, Rajshri became a familiar face on television, acting in popular serials like Aalayam, Agal Vilakku, Mandhira Vasal, and Sivamayam.
On the personal front, Rajshri married Ansari Raja in 2009, though the marriage ended in divorce. She later married Bujankar Rao in 2010, with whom she continues her life.
