Biography

Ramanaidu "Rana" Daggubati is an Indian actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He was born on December 14, 1984 in Madras, Tamil Nadu. He is known for his work in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil language films.

Daggubati's debut film was Leader (2010), directed by Shekhar Kammula. He played the role of an aspiring Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is best known for his role as the antagonist "Bhallaladeva" in the Indian franchise Baahubali. He also produced the National Award-winning film Bommalata in 2004. 

Daggubati has also recorded songs such as "Lights Camera Action", "Nannu Kaadhu Annavu Vaade", and the Telugu version of the song "Lights Camera Action" for the 2019 Tamil film Action. 

Daggubati is also a visual effects coordinator. His visual effects company Spirit Media P. Limited, that specialized in animation and VFX, produced special effects for over 70 films.
