Ravindra Madhava is an emerging talent in the Tamil film industry, known for his work as a director and assistant director. Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Ravindra began his cinematic journey by assisting established filmmakers such as Boopathy Pandian, Suseenthiran, and Koratala Siva, gaining valuable experience in storytelling and production dynamics.

He first gained recognition for his contributions to the Telugu blockbuster Srimanthudu (2015), where he served as a second unit or assistant director. His creative instincts and technical proficiency eventually led him to helm his own projects. Ravindra made headlines with Thanal, a crime thriller starring Atharvaa Murali and Lavanya Tripathi. Produced by M John Peter under Annai Film Production, Thanal explores themes of vengeance, ideology, and emotional conflict. Ravindra described the film as “an emotional tug of war with ample action and unexpected twists,” showcasing his flair for intense, layered narratives.

His casting choices reflect a deep understanding of character psychology. For Thanal, he selected Atharvaa to portray a young man driven by fury and innocence, and Ashwin Kakamanu as a tormented ex-army man, highlighting Ravindra’s commitment to authenticity and depth.
