Rocket Raghava, born on September 20, 1984 in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, is a well-known Telugu comedian and actor who rose to fame through his mimicry and performances on the popular comedy show Jabardasth. His journey from a small-town upbringing to becoming a household name in Telugu entertainment reflects his dedication, versatility, and natural comic timing.
Rocket Raghava discovered his passion for mimicry during his school days, often entertaining peers and teachers with his ability to imitate voices and characters. This early talent eventually led him to pursue opportunities in entertainment, starting with radio programs like Natyaka Rasiyaya on All India Radio, which helped him refine his acting skills. Before entering mainstream comedy, he also worked as a scriptwriter for Doordarshan, gaining valuable experience in the industry. His big breakthrough came with Jabardasth, where his quick dialogue delivery, expressive performances, and unique humor earned him the affectionate nickname “Rocket Raghava.” The show not only gave him fame but also trained him in handling lights, cameras, and the nuances of stage performance.
Beyond television, Raghava transitioned into films, debuting with Lalijo Lalijo (2018) and later appearing in movies such as Savyasachi (2018), Poye Enugu Poye (2023), and the upcoming Game Changer (2025).
