Salman Khan, born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on December 27, 1965, is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality. His illustrious career spans over three decades, during which he has garnered numerous accolades.

Khan’s journey began with a supporting role in the film Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988). However, it was his breakthrough as the lead actor in Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), directed by Sooraj Barjatya, that catapulted him to stardom. Throughout the 1990s, Khan delivered a string of commercially successful films, including family dramas like Hum Aapke Hain Koun…! (1994) and Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999), as well as action-packed ventures like Karan Arjun (1995) and the comedy Biwi No.1 (1999).

The 2010s marked a resurgence for Khan, with blockbuster hits such as Dabangg (2010), Ready (2011), Bodyguard (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Dabangg 2 (2012), Kick (2014), and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). His portrayal of Bajrangi in Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) and Sultan in Sultan (2016) further solidified his status as a box office magnet.
