Sargun Mehta is a celebrated Indian actress, model, and producer, known for her work in Punjabi films and Hindi television. Born on September 6, 1988, in Chandigarh, India, she pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University before venturing into acting.

Mehta began her career in theatre productions during college and made her television debut in 2009 with 12/24 Karol Bagh. She gained recognition with Phulwa (2011-2012) and later starred in Balika Vadhu (2013-2014). Her transition to Punjabi cinema came with Angrej (2015), which won her the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Actress. She continued to impress audiences with films like Love Punjab (2016), Lahoriye (2017), and Qismat (2018), earning multiple Filmfare Awards Punjabi.

Apart from acting, Mehta has established herself as a producer, co-founding Dreamiyata Entertainment with her husband, Ravi Dubey, whom she married in 2013. The production house has backed successful television projects, including Udaariyaan and Junooniyat.
