Biography

Shraddha Kapoor is an Indian actress who has been featured in Hindi films since 2010. She is one of India's highest-paid actresses and has been included in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2014. Kapoor has 18 awards and 48 nominations. 

Kapoor was born in Bombay, Maharashtra on March 3, 1987 or 1989. Her father is actor Shakti Kapoor and her mother is classical singer Shivangi Kapoor. She attended Jamnabai Narsee School and the American School of Bombay, but later dropped out of Boston University. Kapoor is also the niece of Marathi actresses Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure. 

Kapoor's first movie was Teen Patti, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley. She gained recognition for her role in Aashiqui 2 and has since starred in many other films, including Sahoo, ABCD 2, and Ek Villain. She has also sung her own songs, including "Galliyan" from Ek Villain and "Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahungi" from Half Girlfriend.
