Sidharth Malhotra, born on January 16, 1985, in Delhi, India, is a celebrated actor in Hindi cinema known for his charm, versatility, and steady rise through Bollywood’s ranks. Before stepping into films, he began his career as a fashion model at the age of 18, but left the profession after four years, seeking deeper creative fulfillment. His transition into acting began behind the scenes as an assistant director to Karan Johar on My Name Is Khan (2010), which laid the groundwork for his big-screen debut.
He burst onto the scene in 2012 with Student of the Year, sharing the spotlight with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. His portrayal of Abhimanyu Singh—a scholarship student competing in a high-stakes school championship—earned him a Filmfare nomination and instant recognition.
