Sonia Rathee is an Indian-American actress, model, and dancer known for her work in Indian web series and films. Born in Hisar, Haryana, she spent part of her life in the United States, where she pursued higher education before moving to Mumbai to establish her acting career.  

She made her acting debut in 2020 with the YouTube short film Shaadi Aaj Kal: A Wedding Story. However, she gained widespread recognition in 2021 for her lead role as Rumi Desai in the romantic drama web series Broken But Beautiful 3, opposite Sidharth Shukla. The same year, she starred as Masha in the Netflix comedy series Decoupled, alongside R. Madhavan and Surveen Chawla. In 2022, Sonia made her Bollywood debut in the romantic comedy Tara vs Bilal, produced by John Abraham, where she played the lead role alongside Harshvardhan Rane.  

Apart from acting, Sonia is a trained dancer and regularly shares dance cover videos on her YouTube channel. She has also appeared in music videos, including Chamkeela Chehra with rapper Badshah. In 2025, she starred in the Hindi horror-comedy film Kapkapiii, directed by Sangeeth Sivan, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Romancham.  

Sonia Rathee continues to make a mark in the entertainment industry with her versatility and talent. With a growing fan base and an expanding portfolio, she remains one of the promising young actresses in Indian cinema.
