Swastika Mukherjee is an Indian actress who mainly appears in Bengali and Hindi films and television. She was born in Kolkata on December 14, 1979, and is the daughter of actor Santu Mukhopadhyay. She made her screen debut in the Bengali TV series Devdasi (2000), her big screen debut in Hemanter Pakhi (2001), and her first leading role in Mastan (2004). She made her Hindi film debut in Mumbai Cutting (2008). 

Mukherjee has also done some remarkable work in the television industry, including Ek Akasher Niche (2000-2005), Dupur Thakurpo (2017), Paatal Lok (2020), Mohomaya (2021), and Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach (2022). Her recent performance in the movie Qala got her some real recognition in the Bollywood film industry. 

Mukherjee has also been involved in animal rescue.
