Biography

Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar, born on June 10, 1993, is an Indian actress known for her versatile roles in Hindi television and Marathi films. Tejasswi was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and raised in a Marathi family. She pursued her education in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University.

Despite her engineering background, her heart was set on acting, and she embarked on her career at the tender age of 182. Tejasswi made her debut in 2012 with Life OK’s thriller 2612, portraying the character of Rashmi Bhargava. From 2015 to 2016, she gained prominence as Ragini Maheshwari in Colors TV’s popular drama romance Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur. Her portrayal of Diya Singh in Sony TV’s mystery drama Pehredaar Piya Ki further showcased her acting prowess.

In 2019, she played Mishti Khanna in the second season of Voot’s romantic drama Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka. Tejasswi’s adventurous spirit led her to participate in Colors TV’s Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 in 2020, where she showcased her resilience despite a severe eye injury. The year 2021 marked her victory in Colors TV’s reality show Bigg Boss 15, where she survived for 17 weeks inside the house. In February 2022, she took on the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural franchise Naagin 6 as Pratha Gujral, a shape-shifting serpent. The season also featured her in a triple role as Prathna Gujral and Pragati Iyer Shukla.

Tejasswi made her mark in Marathi cinema with Mann Kasturi Re, earning a nomination at the Filmfare Marathi Awards for Best Female Debut.
