Vidyut Jammwal is an Indian actor, martial artist, and stunt performer who primarily works in Hindi films. He was born on December 10, 1980, in Jammu, India. Jammwal made his acting debut in the 2011 Bollywood film "Force" alongside John Abraham.

Before entering the film industry, Jammwal trained in the Indian martial art of Kalaripayattu, which he incorporates into his action sequences. His proficiency in martial arts has earned him the nickname "The New Age Action Hero of Bollywood." He is known for performing his own stunts and action sequences.

Some of his notable films include "Commando" (2013), "Commando 2" (2017), and "Commando 3" (2019), where he portrayed the character of Karanveer Singh Dogra. He has also appeared in other films such as "Bullett Raja" (2013) and "Junglee" (2019).
