Biography

Vijay Chendur, also known as Vijay Chendoor, is a versatile Indian actor and writer celebrated for his contributions to Kannada-language cinema. He began his career in the film industry as a writer for Rocky (2008), where he collaborated with actor Yash. Encouraged by Yash, Vijay transitioned into acting with his debut in Swayam Krushi (2011), a project where he also served as assistant director.

His breakout role came in the horror thriller 6-5=2 (2013), where he portrayed Thigne, earning him recognition for his compelling screen presence. Vijay continued to impress audiences with his performance in Karvva (2016), playing an entertaining dubbing artist—a role praised for its comic timing and energy.

One of his most memorable roles is Manjunath, the loyal peon to Nograj in the political satire Humble Politician Nograj (2018). His chemistry with Danish Sait, who played Nograj, was widely appreciated, with critics highlighting their impeccable timing and camaraderie as a highlight of the film.
