Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated Raksha Bandhan with his family on Friday, August 28, making a special appearance outside his sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri’s Mumbai residence. The actor was spotted leaving the house after the family celebrations and happily showed off the colourful rakhis tied around his wrist.
Salman kept his festive look casual, wearing a maroon T-shirt, blue jeans and a cowboy hat. A tilak on his forehead and multiple colourful rakhis on his wrist added a traditional touch to his otherwise relaxed appearance.
Salman Khan Flaunts His Rakhis
As Salman stepped out of Alvira's house, photographers waiting outside asked him to show the rakhis on his wrist. The actor smiled and obliged, raising his hand for the cameras and proudly displaying the festive threads. The moment quickly caught the attention of fans and social media users.
The celebration highlighted Salman's close relationship with his family. Other members of the Khan family were also spotted at Alvira's residence during the Raksha Bandhan gathering, including veteran actress Helen and Nirvaan Khan, son of Salman’s brother Sohail Khan.
Arpita Khan Also Celebrates Raksha Bandhan With Salman
Salman's celebrations weren't limited to Alvira's home. His sister Arpita Khan Sharma also shared glimpses of her Raksha Bandhan rituals with the actor.
In a video shared by Arpita, she could be seen performing aarti for Salman, applying tilak on his forehead and tying a rakhi around his wrist. She also fed him sweets before the siblings shared a warm hug.
The festive moments offered fans a glimpse into Salman's family life away from his film sets and public appearances. Raksha Bandhan has traditionally been an important occasion for the Khan family, bringing the siblings together for celebrations.
Salman Khan’s Upcoming Projects
Professionally, Salman has a busy schedule ahead. He is set to return as the host of Bigg Boss 20, which is scheduled to premiere in September. He is also working on his upcoming film with director Vamshi Paidipally, which stars Nayanthara and Anil Kapoor alongside him.
