Actor Vivek Oberoi has shared an emotional account of how fellow Bollywood star Akshay Kumar stood by him during one of the most challenging periods of his professional life. According to Vivek, the difficult phase left him feeling deeply discouraged and uncertain about his future in Bollywood. At a time when opportunities were scarce, he received an unexpected call from Akshay Kumar, his co-star from the 2005 comedy film Deewane Huye Paagal. The gesture, Vivek said, became a turning point in helping him regain confidence.
Recalling the incident, Vivek shared that Akshay called him and asked where he was. After Vivek replied that he was at home feeling depressed, Akshay reportedly arrived at his house within half an hour. Vivek said Akshay admitted that he could not change everything happening around him, but he could help him rebuild his confidence.
