Will Yash’s ₹500-Crore Toxic Be a Bigger Hit Than KGF 2?
Yash’s much-awaited return to the big screen with Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has triggered a major box-office question: can the film become a bigger hit than KGF: Chapter 2? Released worldwide on August 26, 2026, Toxic arrives with a reported production budget of around ₹500 crore and enormous expectations riding on Yash’s pan-India popularity.
The comparison is naturally huge. KGF: Chapter 2 transformed Yash from a major Kannada star into one of Indian cinema’s most recognised pan-India actors. The film reportedly collected around ₹1,215 crore worldwide, making the benchmark extremely difficult for Toxic to surpass.
Toxic Gets a Massive Start
Toxic has already demonstrated tremendous audience interest through its advance bookings.
