Singer Mangli’s Birthday Party Raided: Police Seize Foreign Liquor and Ganja

In the early hours of Wednesday, the Hyderabad Special Operations Team (SOT) conducted a surprise raid at Tripura Resorts in Chevella, where popular folk singer Mangli was hosting her birthday party. The raid was carried out following reports of unauthorized liquor consumption and drug use at the event. Several guests, including film industry personalities, were present at the celebration when the police arrived.

During the operation, authorities uncovered multiple bottles of foreign liquor, allegedly purchased without proper authorization. Additionally, some attendees were found to have consumed ganja, leading to immediate action by law enforcement. A total of 48 individuals were subjected to drug tests, and nine guests reportedly tested positive for cannabis consumption.

The police have registered cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, along with violations related to unauthorized liquor possession. The resort’s management and event organizers are also under scrutiny for failing to comply with legal regulations. Authorities are now conducting a detailed investigation to determine the extent of the violations and whether further legal action is required.

The incident has sparked discussions about celebrity parties and legal compliance, with fans expressing mixed reactions to Mangli’s involvement. While sources close to the singer claim she was unaware of any illegal activities, the controversy has drawn public and media attention across Telangana. The case remains under investigation, and further updates are expected in the coming days.
