Thunderbolts is a 2025 American superhero film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie serves as the 36th installment in the MCU and the final film of Phase Five.

The film centers on a team of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). Under the command of Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), the group is assigned a perilous mission, only to uncover shocking secrets that force them to confront their past actions and personal conflicts.

Filming took place between February and June 2024, with primary locations at Trilith Studios and Atlanta Metro Studios, alongside shoots in Utah and Kuala Lumpur. The film premiered in London on April 22, 2025, followed by its U.S. release on May 2, 2025.
