Alia Bhatt made a stunning appearance at the Met Gala 2024, held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This marked her second time gracing the prestigious fashion event after her debut in 2023. The theme for this year’s Met Gala was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

Alia chose to wear a Sabyasachi couture saree that perfectly aligned with the theme. The exquisite saree featured intricate hand-embroidered florals using silk floss, glass beading, and semi-precious gemstones. Its 23-foot-long train added drama and elegance to her ensemble. A total of 163 craftsmen dedicated 1905 hours to create this timeless garment.

Before stepping onto the green and white carpet, Alia expressed her excitement, saying, “When I thought of the dress code, ‘The Garden of Time,’ it needed something timeless, and there is nothing more timeless than a sari.” Fans were in awe of her beauty, with comments like “No ONE comes close to this” and “Ate this look. No one could have done better.”
