Border 2 is an upcoming Hindi war epic set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, revisiting the historic Battle of Longewala while carrying forward the patriotic legacy of the 1997 classic Border.

Directed by Anurag Singh and slated for release on 23 January 2026, the film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, with supporting roles by Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana. The story, written by Nidhi Dutta, dramatizes the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who defended their homeland against overwhelming odds. Adding nostalgia, original cast members Akshaye Khanna, Suniel Shetty, and Sudesh Berry are expected to make cameo appearances, reprising their iconic roles in special sequences. With a massive budget of around ?150–250 crore, powerful music by Anu Malik, Mithoon, Vishal Mishra, Sachet–Parampara, and Gurmoh, and cinematography by Anshul Chobey, Border 2 promises to be a grand, emotional, and action-packed tribute to the Indian Army.
