Swatantrya Veer Savarkar is a 2024 Hindi-language biopic drama film directed by Randeep Hooda. The film is about the life of Indian freedom fighter and reformer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, also known as Veer Savarkar. The film also stars Ankita Lokhande and R Bhakti Klein. 

The movie is about Savarkar's life journey and the historical events that occurred during India's independence. It challenges India's independence through nonviolence by portraying Savarkar's call for armed revolution. The movie also explores Savarkar's attempts to unite Hindus and Muslims for an undivided India. 

Savarkar was the president of the Hindu Mahasabha from 1937 to 1943. He led the Hindu Mahasabha to organize Hindu Militarization Boards, which recruited armed forces to help the British in World War 2. He also criticized the British proposals to transfer power and attacked both the Congress and the British for making concessions to Muslim separatists.
