Tamil Nadu Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin on Tuesday alleged that he was treated "like a terrorist" by the ruling TVK government after being released on bail in a case related to his alleged remarks at a public meeting. The DMK leader accused the state administration of targeting him for political reasons and questioned the manner in which the case was handled.
The controversy stems from comments allegedly made by Udhayanidhi during a public gathering. According to the complainants, the remarks were directed at actor Trisha Krishnan, who is widely regarded as a close friend and confidante of actor-turned-Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.
