Vrusshabha is an upcoming bilingual fantasy action drama directed by Nanda Kishore, starring legendary actor Mohanlal in a powerful lead role. Jointly produced by Connekkt Media, Balaji Telefilms, and AVS Studios, the film is set to release on October 16, 2025, in Telugu and Malayalam languages.

The story explores the intense emotional and spiritual conflict between two sworn enemies reborn as father and son. With the tagline “Reborn love: A love so strong, it defies death,” the film delves into themes of reincarnation, revenge, and redemption. Mohanlal’s character demands gravitas and emotional depth, which the director says only an actor of his caliber can deliver.

The cast includes Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, Nayan Sarika, and Neha Saxena, with Shanaya Kapoor making her acting debut. Samarjit Lankesh replaced Roshan Meka in the role of Mohanlal’s son and underwent rigorous training in horse riding, sword fighting, and gymnastics to prepare for the role.

Filming took place across India and the UK, with principal photography spanning from July 2023 to February 2025. The film’s production has drawn attention for its scale and ambition, including the involvement of Hollywood producer Nick Thurlow as executive producer.
