Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have been in a relationship for 9 long years and the couple tied the knot in June 2022. They are the parents of surrogate twins - Uyir Rudro Neel N Shivan and Ulag Daivig N Shivan. 

The couple has never shied away from displaying their love on social media, and Vignesh Shivan has constantly supported his wife in all her ventures. Recently, Nayanthara joined Instagram, and her account garnered more than a million followers within a few hours.  

However, on Saturday, news spread that Nayanthara had unfollowed Vignesh Shivan on Instagram, and a cryptic post followed on her story that read, “She’s gonna forever say ‘I got this’ even with tears in her eyes.” Fans assumed that the couple was separating, sparking divorce rumors. Quashing all that, Vignesh Shivan posted a story of Nayanthara and her skincare brand as they became the title sponsor for an award show. The rumors died down immediately, and fans even took screenshots of the actress following Vignesh Shivan on the social media platform. 

Internet users claimed that it might have been a bug that showed Nayanthara unfollowing Vignesh Shivan on Instagram, and it was soon rectified. On the work front, Nayanthara, who was last seen in Anapoorani, has a few projects in the pipeline, including Test and Manankatti since 1960, and she is also said to appear in a cameo in Vignesh Shivan’s directorial titled Love Insurance Corporation.
