Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy Encountered A Stone Attack In Vijayawada
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy encountered a stone attack during the Memantha Siddham Yatra in Vijayawada. The incident occurred on Saturday, leaving him with a minor injury to his left eyebrow. An unidentified individual hurled a stone at the Chief Minister while he was participating in the campaign.
Swift action was taken by his security team, providing him with immediate first aid aboard the bus. MLA Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, who was accompanying the Chief Minister during the campaign, also sustained injuries to his left eye.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders alleged that workers from the Telugu Desam Party were involved in the attack. Despite the injury, Jagan Mohan Reddy continued with his roadshow. The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled for May.
