Pakistan's Drone Attack on Indian Army Headquarters in Jaisalmer Sparks Tensions

Jaisalmer, India – In a shocking escalation of hostilities, Pakistani drones attempted to target the Indian Army Headquarters in Jaisalmer late Thursday night. The Indian Armed Forces swiftly intercepted the attack, enforcing a complete blackout in parts of Rajasthan and Punjab to prevent further security breaches.  

According to reports, explosions were heard, and flashes were seen in the sky as Indian air defense systems engaged the incoming drones. The attack comes amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, following India's recent military operation, Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.  

The Indian Defence Ministry has confirmed that Pakistan attempted to engage multiple military targets across northern and western India, including cities such as Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, and Ludhiana. In response, India has reinforced its security measures and remains on high alert.
