  • Harsh Mayar was born on 22 March 1998 in India and began acting at the age of eight.

  • He joined the Shri Ram Center in Delhi for acting classes with the financial support of his uncle, since his parents could not afford the fees.

  • Before his film debut, he performed in 5–6 stage plays and went through nearly 180 auditions for singing, dancing, and acting.

  • He was initially selected for Chillar Party but had to withdraw after breaking his right hand while playing.

  • His breakthrough came with I Am Kalam (2011), where he played Chhotu (Kalam). The film was shot in Rajasthan in 2009 and directed by Nila Madhab Panda.

  • For I Am Kalam, he won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist (2010), along with international recognition such as the River Rock Award (2011) at the Silent River Film Festival in California and Best Actor at the Minsk International Film Festival.

  • He later appeared in television shows like Gumrah: End of Innocence (2014) and web series such as Abhay (2019).

  • Harsh gained widespread popularity for his role as Aman Mishra in the SonyLIV series Gullak (2019–present), which became one of his most recognized performances.
