Murli Sharma (born August 9, 1972) is a versatile Indian actor celebrated for his extensive work across multiple film industries, particularly Telugu and Hindi cinema.

Born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and raised in Mumbai, Sharma trained at the Roshan Taneja School of Acting before beginning his career in the mid-1990s. Over the years, he has appeared in more than 130 films spanning Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, and Malayalam, earning recognition for his ability to portray authoritative and intense characters, often as police officers or powerful antagonists. His breakthrough in television came with Paltan on Doordarshan, where he played Col. R.S. Sajwan, and he later featured in several popular soap operas including Guns and Roses, Siddanth, and Laagi Tujhse Lagan.

Sharma’s film career includes memorable roles in movies like Main Hoon Na (2004), Athidi (2007), Dhoni (2012), Badlapur (2015), and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020).
