1. Early Life & Education – Neena Gupta was born on June 4, 1959, in Kolkata, India. She pursued her M.A. and M.Phil in Sanskrit from Delhi University before enrolling at the National School of Drama.
2. Film Debut & International Recognition – She made her Bollywood debut with Saath Saath (1982) and gained global recognition for her role in Gandhi (1982), where she played Mahatma Gandhi’s niece.
3. National Film Awards – Neena Gupta has won three National Film Awards, including Best Supporting Actress for Woh Chokri (1994) and Uunchai (2022).
