Biography
Niranjana Anoop is a talented Indian actress and classical dancer who has carved a niche for herself in Malayalam cinema.
Born on 6 February 1999 in Kozhikode, Kerala, Niranjana grew up in a family deeply rooted in the arts. Her mother, Narayani Anoop, is a trained dancer and runs The Punarjani School of Dance, which inspired Niranjana to pursue Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi from a young age. She studied at The Choice School, Tripunithura, Kochi, and later graduated from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam, balancing academics with her passion for performance.
Niranjana made her acting debut in 2015 with Loham, directed by Ranjith, and quickly gained recognition for her expressive acting style. She went on to appear in films such as Puthan Panam (2017), Kala Viplavam Pranayam (2018), Ira (2018), and B. Tech (2018), steadily building her reputation as a versatile performer. Beyond films, she has also worked in short films, web series, and dance dramas, including Govinda Madhava (2018) and the Disney+ Hotstar web series Nagendran’s Honeymoons (2024).
Known for her graceful screen presence and strong foundation in classical dance, Niranjana continues to balance her artistic pursuits across cinema and stage.
