Niranjana Anoop was born on 6 February 1999 in Kozhikode, Kerala, into a family with strong artistic roots.
Her mother, Narayani Anoop, is a trained classical dancer and runs The Punarjani School of Dance, which inspired Niranjana to pursue Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi.
She studied at The Choice School, Tripunithura, Kochi, and later graduated from St. Teresa’s College, Ernakulam.
Niranjana made her acting debut in 2015 with the film Loham, directed by Ranjith, where she played a supporting role.
She is also a trained classical dancer, having performed Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi on stage before entering films.
Apart from movies, she has appeared in short films, web series, and dance dramas, including Govinda Madhava (2018) and Nagendran’s Honeymoons (2024) on Disney+ Hotstar.
Niranjana has acted in films like Puthan Panam (2017), Ira (2018), B. Tech (2018), and Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), steadily building her career.
She balances her film career with her passion for dance, often performing at cultural events and festivals.
