Penmetsa Ram Gopal Varma, also known as RGV, is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter. He has worked in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and television films. Some of his films include Vyooham, Dangerous, Naked, Satya, Rangeela, Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, Naach, Sarkar, and Darna Zaroori Hai. He has also written songs such as Champara and Kathulato Savasam. 

RGV was born on April 7, 1962 and is 1.55 meters tall. He has credits in over 60 films, including Raat (1992), Dil Se (1998), Ab Tak Chappan (2004), and Ek Hasina Thi (2004).
