1. RGV is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He's known for his work in Telugu cinema, as well as Hindi, Kannada language films, and television.

2. RGV's first movie, Shiva, was in Telugu and launched his career as a filmmaker.

3. RGV is the first filmmaker from South India to make a name for himself in Hindi films.

4. Most of his films are set in the jungle or involve the Bombay underworld.

5. RGV has often cast Urmila Matondkar in his films, including seven of his Hindi films.
