Rishabh Sawhney
Facts
Rishabh Sawhney was born in New Delhi, India, and later moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career.
Before acting, he worked as a fashion model, which helped him gain visibility in the entertainment industry.
He holds a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (2010–2014).
His first acting role was in the historical web series The Empire (2021), where he played Mehmood, the brother of Babur.
Interestingly, while working on The Empire, he also served as a casting assistant, showing his behind-the-scenes involvement in filmmaking.
He later worked as a crew member in other web series like Kaun Banegi Shikharwati and Bestseller.
His big-screen debut came with Fighter (2024), directed by Siddharth Anand, where he played the antagonist Azhar Akhtar opposite Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor.
He is known for his distinctive moss-green eyes, which add to his striking on-screen presence.
Standing at 5’11” (180 cm) and weighing around 85 kg, he has a strong physique that suits his villainous roles.
His family background includes his father Ravinder Sawhney, mother Deepali Babbar Sawhney, and sister Shristhi Sawhney Sabherwal.
