Saumya Tandon is an Indian actress, model, and television presenter best known for her role as Anita Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in the popular sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! (2015–2020).

Born on 3 November 1984 in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, she grew up in Ujjain where her father, B.G. Tandon, was a professor and writer. Saumya began her career in television with Aisa Des Hai Mera (2006) and made her Bollywood debut in Jab We Met (2007), where she played Kareena Kapoor’s sister. Alongside acting, she became a familiar face as a host of several shows, including Dance India Dance, Bournvita Quiz Contest, and Entertainment Ki Raat. Her portrayal of Anita in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! earned her widespread recognition and established her as one of Indian television’s most admired actresses. In 2025, she appeared in Aditya Dhar’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar, which brought renewed attention to her acting career.

Beyond her professional life, Saumya is married to Saurabh Devendra Singh since 2016, and the couple has one child. Known for her elegance and versatility, she has successfully balanced acting, hosting, and modeling, carving out a unique space in the Indian entertainment industry.
