Bollywood is preparing to welcome another star kid as Yashvardhan Ahuja, son of veteran actor Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, is set to make his acting debut. The young actor is reportedly being launched in filmmaker Sajid Khan’s upcoming horror film, with Laapataa Ladies fame Nitanshi Goel as his co-star. Reports about the project first emerged in early 2026, when the film was said to have gone on floors.
The project has reportedly been titled “Hundred”, marking Sajid Khan’s return to filmmaking in a completely different genre. Known primarily for commercial comedies such as Housefull and Heyy Babyy, Sajid is now attempting horror with this new film. According to reports, the movie went on floors around Basant Panchmi and features Yashvardhan and Nitanshi in the lead roles.
Yashvardhan Ahuja’s Bollywood Debut
Yashvardhan is the younger child of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja. While his sister Tina Ahuja has already appeared in films, Yashvardhan has so far stayed away from the spotlight compared with his famous father.
His launch is attracting considerable attention because Govinda remains one of Hindi cinema’s most recognisable stars. Reports have previously indicated that Yashvardhan has been preparing for his entry into the film industry and wants to establish his own identity rather than depend entirely on his father’s legacy.
Interestingly, reports about the project have carried different descriptions of Sajid Khan’s upcoming film. Earlier reports described it as a romantic comedy involving Yashvardhan and Nitanshi, while more recent reports identify the project as the horror film Hundred.
Nitanshi Goel Joins the Project
Yashvardhan will reportedly share the screen with Nitanshi Goel, who rose to prominence with her acclaimed performance as Phool Kumari in Laapataa Ladies. The young actress received widespread recognition following the success of the film and has since become one of the promising new faces in Hindi cinema.
Her pairing with Yashvardhan is expected to be one of the major attractions of the upcoming project. The film will also give Nitanshi an opportunity to explore a different genre after her breakthrough with a socially rooted comedy-drama.
Sajid Khan Returns With Horror
For Sajid Khan, the film represents a significant change from the comedy-oriented movies associated with his career. His move into horror has generated curiosity, particularly because the project is also introducing a new male lead.
The film is reportedly backed by Guilty By Association Media, with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms also associated with the project, according to reports.
While detailed information about the storyline, release date and character details remains limited, the combination of a star kid debut, a rising young actress and a filmmaker entering a new genre has already created interest.
For Yashvardhan Ahuja, the film could become an important first step in establishing himself independently in Bollywood. With Govinda’s legacy behind him and Nitanshi Goel bringing strong recognition from Laapataa Ladies, expectations will be high when the project eventually reaches audiences.
