The first major celebration is scheduled in Hyderabad on August 22, with the event set to take place at Malla Reddy University from 5 PM onwards. Reports indicate that the event is expected to attract a huge gathering of Yash fans, particularly from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, where the actor enjoys a strong following.

The Hyderabad event is expected to become an important part of the film's final promotional campaign. With Yash returning to theatres nearly four years after KGF: Chapter 2, expectations are particularly high among his fans. The film's promotional material, including its trailer and posters, has further increased curiosity around its stylish gangster-world setting.

Following Hyderabad, the promotional celebrations are expected to move to Chennai on August 23, where fans are preparing for another major gathering at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. The event is scheduled to open its gates at 4 PM, with the main programme expected to begin at 6 PM. The Chennai celebration is likely to showcase the film's Tamil connection and Yash's growing popularity across South India.

Toxic features an impressive ensemble cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Geetu Mohandas directs the film, while Yash is also credited as a co-writer and co-producer.

The promotional campaign comes at a crucial moment for the film, with advance bookings already showing encouraging signs in Bengaluru. According to a recent report, Bengaluru was recording more than 25,000 ticket sales per hour after advance booking opened, while over one million people had expressed interest in the film on BookMyShow. However, bookings in Hyderabad, Chennai and some other major markets were still pending at the time of the report.

Toxic is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 26, 2026, in multiple languages. The film is reportedly targeting a release across more than 12,000 screens worldwide, underlining the scale of its theatrical ambitions.

With two major fan events lined up just days before release, Yash's supporters are expected to turn both Hyderabad and Chennai into celebrations of the star's return to the big screen. The response at these events, combined with advance-booking trends, could offer an early indication of the massive opening expectations surrounding Toxic.
