The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has officially declared the MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2026 for admission to B.E./B.Tech and integrated engineering programmes. Candidates who participated in the first round of the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) can now check their allotment status by logging in to the official counselling portal, fe2026.mahacet.org.
The provisional allotment has been prepared based on candidates' MHT CET/JEE Main merit rank, category, reservation policy, seat availability, and the web options submitted during choice filling.
Over 1.57 Lakh Candidates Allotted Seats
According to the CET Cell, 1,57,103 candidates have secured seats in CAP Round 1. Out of these, 16,615 candidates received their first-preference college under the Auto Freeze option, reflecting strong competition for top engineering institutes across Maharashtra.
How to Check MHT CET CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result
Candidates can follow these steps to access their allotment status:
Visit the official website fe2026.mahacet.org.
Log in using your Application ID and Password (or Date of Birth, if applicable).
Click on the CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment Result link.
View your allotted institute and course.
Download and print the provisional allotment letter for future reference.
What to Do After Seat Allotment?
Candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the online seat acceptance (self-verification) process within the prescribed timeline. They are also required to report to the allotted institute with the necessary documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.
Failure to complete these formalities within the stipulated deadline may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Admission Process Continues
Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seat or do not receive a seat in the first round will have another opportunity to participate in the subsequent CAP rounds, subject to eligibility and counselling guidelines.
