Who Is Cami Clark? Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei’s Wife and Her Jeffrey Epstein Connection

Cami Clark, the wife of Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, has attracted renewed attention after emails from the Jeffrey Epstein files reportedly revealed that she sought investment from the convicted sex offender and financier for an adult-content business more than a decade ago. The correspondence, reported by The Wall Street Journal and other media outlets, dates back to 2011 and 2012, years before Clark married Amodei.

Clark has maintained a relatively low public profile despite being closely connected to influential figures in Silicon Valley. According to recent reporting, she has worked as an entrepreneur and has been involved in ventures spanning adult entertainment and women's health technology. Her earlier venture, Eddice, was described as a women-focused adult-content company that she pitched as a premium or “luxury porn” business.

The resurfaced emails show Clark attempting to interest Epstein in funding the venture. Reports based on the documents say she described the proposed business as a women-focused company and discussed ideas related to producing adult entertainment. Epstein initially engaged with the proposal but ultimately did not invest. According to The Week's account of the correspondence, he later indicated that he could not participate in the venture.

It is important to note that the reported correspondence concerns Clark's business efforts from more than a decade ago and predates her relationship with Amodei. The resurfacing of the emails has nevertheless generated considerable interest because of her present-day proximity to Anthropic, one of the world's most prominent artificial intelligence companies.

Clark reportedly met Dario Amodei in 2014, when he was working in the technology and research world. The couple married in 2022. Although Clark does not hold a formal executive position at Anthropic, recent reporting has described her as an influential adviser to her husband and a significant presence within his professional network.

Her Silicon Valley connections have also attracted attention. Reports say Clark previously had a relationship with Google executive and former CEO Eric Schmidt. She later helped connect Schmidt with Amodei and Anthropic's founders, with Schmidt subsequently becoming an important early investor in the AI company.

Before becoming associated with the AI industry, Clark's career included entrepreneurial experiments beyond Eddice. Reports say she later became involved in women's health technology through a venture known as Female Algorithm Technologies. Her professional journey has therefore moved across several very different sectors, from adult entertainment to health technology and eventually Silicon Valley's artificial-intelligence ecosystem.

Today, Clark's reported behind-the-scenes role has become a subject of interest because of Anthropic's growing influence in the global AI industry. While she is not officially listed as an Anthropic executive, reports describe her as someone who has advised Amodei and participated in high-level networking involving investors and technology leaders.

The renewed focus on Cami Clark is therefore less about her current formal position and more about the unusual path that preceded her association with Anthropic. The Epstein-related emails have brought her earlier business ambitions back into public discussion, while her reported influence around one of the world's leading AI companies has made her personal and professional history a subject of increasing scrutiny.
