A tragic incident in Bengaluru's Whitefield area has left a 23-year-old woman dead, while a 30-year-old man is critically injured after the two reportedly fell from the seventh floor of a residential building on Sunday. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are examining a possible relationship dispute as one of the key angles.
Woman Dies, Man Critically Injured
According to police, the woman was a software engineer, while the man was also known to her. Both were originally from Puducherry and had reportedly been in a relationship for around six years.
The woman suffered fatal injuries in the fall and died, while the man survived but sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to a private hospital, where he remains under treatment, according to the latest police information.
The incident reportedly occurred at a residential/co-living accommodation in Whitefield, Bengaluru, on Sunday afternoon. Police have begun collecting information about what happened shortly before the fall.
