According to the latest live tracking data, Toxic had collected around ₹19.29 crore net in India by the evening, taking its India net total to approximately ₹158.04 crore. The film's India gross stood at around ₹188.61 crore at that point, with final Day 3 figures still awaited.

Other live trackers were reporting different figures as collections continued to come in. Moneycontrol reported ₹14.20 crore net by 6 PM, while another tracker had the film at approximately ₹24.54 crore for Day 3 by around 7:52 PM. These numbers are provisional and can change as the day's final shows are reported.

Toxic Day 3 Box Office Collection

Toxic opened with an impressive ₹101.10 crore net in India on Day 1 across languages. However, collections dropped to approximately ₹37.65 crore on Day 2, representing a decline of more than 60%.

The Day 3 performance suggests that the film is finding some stability after the major Thursday fall. The Raksha Bandhan holiday in several parts of India could provide an additional boost to evening and night shows.

Will Toxic Recover Over the Weekend?

The weekend will be crucial for Toxic. After its ₹100-crore-plus opening, the sharp Day 2 correction raised questions about the film's long-term theatrical run.

However, the film still has a substantial opening-weekend base. If Saturday and Sunday collections rise significantly, Toxic could maintain a healthy theatrical run and cross major box-office milestones.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic stars Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The period gangster drama is set against the backdrop of Goa between the 1940s and 1970s.

For now, the focus remains on the final Day 3 number and whether Toxic can use the weekend to regain the momentum it enjoyed on its opening day.
