Yash's much-awaited Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is witnessing strong demand ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. According to the latest booking trends, the Telugu version in Andhra Pradesh is nearing the ₹40 lakh mark in Day 1 advance bookings, indicating a promising start for Yash's pan-India gangster drama.

Toxic Telugu Advance Booking

The Telugu market is particularly important for Toxic because the film has been released as a major pan-India project. However, advance bookings in the Telugu states opened later than several other markets, meaning the final pre-release numbers could rise significantly.

The film has already crossed ₹40 crore in overall Day 1 advance sales, including blocked seats, despite Telugu-market bookings not being fully open. Trade trackers therefore expect the total figure to increase as more Telugu shows become available.

Andhra Pradesh Day 1 Booking Report

In Andhra Pradesh, Toxic is approaching ₹40 lakh in advance gross for its opening day. The number reflects early bookings and could increase considerably during the final hours before the first shows.

The state has also approved higher ticket prices for Toxic. Andhra Pradesh has permitted a ₹600 ticket price for benefit shows, while the state government's pricing arrangements are expected to support the film's opening-day revenue.

Higher ticket rates could help Toxic generate stronger gross collections even if the number of tickets sold remains below that of the film's biggest markets.

Yash's Toxic Creates Pan-India Buzz

The overall advance-booking performance has been impressive. The latest nationwide tracking puts Toxic's Day 1 advance tally at around ₹41 crore including blocked seats, while actual booked gross was reported at approximately ₹31.89 crore from 8.94 lakh tickets.

Karnataka remains the biggest contributor, followed by the Hindi market. With Telugu bookings still expanding, the film has a chance to push its advance sales even higher before release.

Can Toxic Deliver A Big Telugu Opening?

The Telugu version will be closely watched because Yash has built a substantial following in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana following the success of the KGF franchise.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic stars Yash alongside Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. The film is releasing in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and English.

With ticket prices increased in the Telugu states and bookings still gaining momentum, Toxic could record a healthy opening in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
